celestial indulgence
all this fauna is for thee
euxine sea
autonomy by nature
vyraj brought to rooted feet
svetovid
will of denial
cloak the yearning youth
lust and belial
coven of no truth
seal of divergence
no urmya no light
the serpent lures with comfort
to take your sight
anointed by a volkhv
of the post-ethereal age
cleanse yourself of purity
with pills and greed and sage
uselessness dependancy
within the poisoned teat
salute unto the new decay
and trust defeat
throughout the astral seas
consume the seventh need
dhyana through the cogs
futurist paganry
my longing athena
you seduce the abyss
oh empyrean above us
under rootless trees
i still dream you in sunlight
with your holy swan
will you take to the highlands
when the night has dawned
gruda in žolč
lost fields unsowed
srce in volk
old is mine cloak
Ἡ εἰκών was an impressive debut, but way too short! Luckily, Ψευδομένη arrives to satisfy the urge for more of what made its precedessor hit hard and fast: some atmospheric moments (don't be deterred as this is still brutal, dissonant and disgusting to the core) and at the same time, J.L. is exploring longer tracks - e.g. my personal favourite - and implementing some cavernous lows. If there's one thing we can all agree on, it's most likely that this man refuses to stand still. What a pace! David Fischer
Swirling guitars, furious drums, vocals that at the same time howl from infinite distance and are right up in your head; everything put into dissonant form with the help of unconventional songwriting. This album is my personal key to the icelanding black metal madness that I've ignored for way too long! Lukas Kaufmann
